A Trip to Nathiagali in December

Few days ago we had a short trip to nathiagali, a very beautiful hill station near Murree and Abbottabad, I am not going in details about the place; you can easily find it on wikipedia.

While on the way, due to some issue with one of our coasters, we had a few minutes stay at Changla Gali at Daisy Dot Hotel. That was a good chance to explore this beautiful place, so I had taken few pictures for you people:

After a travelling of almost 9 hours (from Lahore to murree and murree to nathiagali) finally we reached nathiagali at about 8 am in the morning. Weather was very pleasant and cool. We took some rest, had our breakfast and then started exploring the beauty of this heaven on earth. A group of about 110 people roaming around a place; you can imagine the fun and entertainment we had. Our first target was the mukshpuri trek, please see my other post Nathiagali to Mukshpuri Top.

Our stay was at Affaq Hotel which is situated in main bazaar of nathiagali, this hotel has an open air restaurant and have large number of luxury rooms; it is also known for its best food in nathiagali.

There are many other small and large hotels in nathiagali bazaar. Few well known hotels in nathiagali are Greens Hotel Nathiagali (Greens Retreat Hotel) and Summer Retreat Hotel.  In winters (out of season) hotel rooms costs from 200 PKR/night to 1000 PKR/night, but in summers (in season) cost reaches from 2,500 PKR/night to 10,000 PKR/night. On the other hand prices of food items are inversely proportional to the prices of accommodation in different seasons, means in winters accommodation prices goes low but the food prices rises and vice versa for the summer season. While exploring Nathiagali bazaar I had taken pictures of the menus of few restaurants as well.
